We use high-quality sustainable raw material for our Triphala tablets (amla, haritaki and bihitaki) which is carefully harvested, cleansed and dried. Although it is a traditional product, modern manufacturing and drying processes are also employed. Internationally valid hygiene standards are abided by. Our quality management places particular importance on the testing of any microorganiclogical (bacterial) contamination of the plant material. For a country of tropical origin like India, this is a crucial aspect of product safety. Whenever necessary we carry out gentle germ reduction.

No fillers or additives are added to the powder. It comprises with all its components and phytochemicals the full value of the plant.

Because of the well-known problems with the supply chains, we unfortunately had to limit the orderable quantity of this item to 6 pieces per customer.

Triphala (three fruits)

Triphala, also known as “three fruits”, is the most famous ayurvedic food supplement and is known to be the most important rasayana.  It contains, in precise proportions, amla (Indian gooseberry), haritaki (panicles myrobolan) and bibhitaki (beleric myrobalan).  Amla has a calming effect on the pitta dosha, haritaki mainly harmonises vata and bibhitaki is calming for the kapha dosha.  The combination of all three fruits is balancing for all three doshas.

Product Consumption Recommendation

Take 2 x 3 tablets daily. Daily dose contains: 2,220 mg fruit powder and 600 mg tannins. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Food supplements are not a replacement for a normal, varied diet.
