NAAN: CORIANDER & ANISE, ORGANIC

If you enjoy Indian food, then Naan bread is a must as a side dish. It can be eaten plain or with butter or ghee, curry, dal, or any dip of your choosing.

• Already flavoured with spices
• Without yeast
• For a good gut feeling
• Can be quickly prepared by heating in a pan

Preparation (5 flat cakes)

You will need: 1.5 tsp oil, 150 ml warm water, and some flour for rolling out the dough.

Gradually add water and oil to the baking mixture and knead it into a dough. Knead the resulting dough for another 2-3 minutes on a flat surface until the mixture feels smooth. Then leave to rest for 10 minutes to give it a fluffy consistency.

First dust the work surface with flour. Then divide the dough into 5 equal pieces, shape them into balls, and roll them out into hand-sized flatbreads about 2 mm thick.

Heat a coated pan and fry the flatbreads separately on both sides at high heat without oil. Once cooked, brush them with ghee or butter and enjoy. Or just enjoy them plain with the herbs and spices already included.
